“Dry Drums” series is all about the driest drum sound possible with a touch of contemporary production to it. The recordings took place on a small drum room reminiscent of the old motown/daptone recording characteristics. We then covered all drum shells using ‘mr. muffin’ tea towels. In order to add that extra mid range crunch, all mics were running through UAD emulations from a API console pre amp and further saturated using plugins such as Decapitator by Soundtoys and Oxide Tape Saturator by UAD.
“Future R’&B” brings together influences from Kaytranada to Louis Cole. The idea is to merge the old with the new!
For this series we welcome the amazing Joost Hendrickx on the kit. Joost has drummed for the likes of Abstract Orchestra, The Sorcerers, Shatner’s Bassoon, XOA, Tipping Point, Ed Begley and is a regular collaborator with Leeds label ATA Records.

This sample pack contains 30 WAV loops at different BPM’s providing musicians/producers with a great starting point for making music.
All loops contain drum fills and slight variations, keeps things super organic!
